Eredene is advised by two Indian Special Advisors with extensive high-level experience in Indian shipping, transport and warehousing to help source, evaluate and advise on investments.
Mr DT Joseph
DT Joseph was Director-General of Shipping from 1999 to 2003 and Secretary, Department of Shipping, Ministry of Shipping, Road Transport & Highways, from 2003 to 2005. As Secretary Shipping, Mr Joseph helped in getting the tonnage tax option to shipowners and in preparing the comprehensive draft Maritime Policy as well as the National Maritime Development Programme. Mr Joseph was a part of the team that approved the Vallarpadam container terminal project at Cochin port, the third container terminal at JNPT and the Sethusamudram project proposed to link the Palk Bay and the Gulf of Mannar between India and Sri Lanka. Joseph also served as Secretary, Government of Maharashtra, Public Health Department and Urban Development Department and was the first Chief Executive Officer of the Slum Rehabilitation Authority. He also served as the Managing Director of State Industrial Corporation of Maharashtra (SICOM).
DT Joseph is currently advisor to Mayfair Housing Ltd and to Metro Infrastructure & Project Solutions India Ltd, and an independent director of Mundra Port and Special Economic Zone Ltd, Shreyas Shipping Logistics Limited, Ocean Sparkle Ltd and Wärtsilä India Limited. Mr Joseph has Masters Degrees in English Literature and Economics from Madras University and Manchester University, respectively.
Mr Sarvjit Singh
As Chairman of CWC (1989 to 1993), Sarvjit Singh was responsible for the largest Pan-India warehousing company. CWC operates 490 warehouses across the country with a storage capacity of 9.8 million tonnes providing wide range of warehousing services including food grain warehousing, industrial warehousing, custom bonded warehousing, container freight stations, inland clearance depots and air cargo complexes.
Sarvjit Singh also served as an Advisor to India Trade Promotion Organization under Ministry of Commerce, Govt. of India and as a member of the select committee of the Government of India, Ministry of Education, to formulate the educational standards for engineering and medical courses.
Sarvjit Singh is currently President of MJ Logistic, an Eredene Group company which provides integrated logistics services in North India.
